Just after World War I, Dimitar Georgiev found himself in Germany with a fresh apprenticeship at the benches of the legendary Markneukirchen luthiers. Dimitar, a mandolin player, delighted himself in his new craft and after gaining full knowledge of his trade, ventured back to Bulgaria where he founded Kremona guitars with his brothers. Family is great but with demand came more work and it wasn’t to long before many other world class master luthiers showed up to to join the build team, too.

Kremona is a musician-focused manufacturer with a desire to grow their brand through the players playing them. It only takes a few seconds with one of their instruments in your hands to know that they are fabulous. With a variety of tone woods and skills second to none, Kremona luthiers make a solid instrument at a very affordable price.
